Another day, another odyssey

So, much like Char’s post below, this one is from Reims, at a local cybercafe. Not a cheap hobby, this mobile internet thing…

Anyway, I’m not going to cover the same ground as she did, nor in fact am I going to bother with a lot of detail at all; I’m tired (again!) and I have only one thing to add (and that’s for Amy): Gargoyles!

    Thanx for the photos. It’s expensive there to internet? Sounds like the trip is working out roughly as we last talked.

    Yeah, it’s a bit pricey. And uploading the pictures takes a coon’s age, so I had to be a bit selective. My web host (as you may have noted) isn’t going to win any awards for speed, and it’s worse when you’re uploading.

    Anyway, I’m writing this from Calvi, which is a beautiful little town on the Mediterranean Sea. The ocean IS as blue as all the tourist pictures paint it to be, which is a bit of a pleasant surprise. Char’s writing a post right now, so I’ll be leaving the details to her.
