Oi, I’m tired

Probably not as tired as Char, but at least I ate today. I’ll leave the details of the day to her, but suffice to say I’m enjoying it. The language is coming a bit more naturally to me, although it’s pretty clear I’m an Anglo here.

Tomorrow it’s off to Rheims, which is bubbly country.

Beers tried so far: Abbey de Leffe (Blonde, belgian, and sweet) and Ch’ti (French, light and crisp). I’m trying to remember these as best I can, because I know I’ll be quizzed on them when I get home.

Hope the cats are doing well.

Everything is better in France, even the sewer rats right!? ;-,

Beer. Beer? Beer! I like the subtle jibe very much, as did Brady but yes, beer reviews are expected and eagerly anticipated. Every nuance and emotion evoked must be shared. I, we kid but of course. Any interesting tidbits you have when you get back will be coo’.

Kitties are fine as noted in the short email. As was also noted in the email they know we are a poor man’s version of yous two, at least in the way of pet parents. You know, I am the emotionally unavailable mother and Brady is the loving father who loves to tease and torture the kids. Still coming to grips that these are not farm cats. “What?! when I was a kid cats were made for the farm. They’d drag the remains of gofers home, none of this tap drinkin’ pussy stuff”.

As for me, the dander has been supped up for some reason so visits are short. I am not sure if it is because they miss you and that is how it manifests or if they resent me and see that as their only retaliation.

Brady was kind enough to let me feel included by allowing me to clean up the poo?spew? )we we never really sure what it was). Again, I kid. I volunteered and it is spic and span! Yay me!
