    Now, see, the whole Nobel thing is Dad getting way out of hand with his delusions of grandeur. What happened was that I gave Dad a *shred* of legitimacy to his favorite pastime of girl-watching, and that was where he took it.

    Can you imagine him in Oslo giving a speech to a horde of foreign dignitaries? It’d most likely consist of him praising their wives or daughters, I think.
