Lyrical whimsy…

Saturday, September 6th, 2003

Let’s see, the day thus far…

Rose prior to alarm ringing, voiceless singers hanging in my head like so many cobwebs.
Broke fast with a bowl of crunch over yesterdays news.
Brief shower spent lamenting absence of lover.
Call to potential housing; no answer.
By phone, listening to Puppy.
Blogging.
End.

Gotta love that schedule…

Greetings!

This day finds me unproductive and bored in the library, classroom at present occupied by another instructor and thirty-odd prepubescent pupils. The morn unfolds most unnaturally, having taught but one block and no more; the afternoon is lined up to be identical, at least in terms of workload for me due to yet another September disruption in guise of general gymnasium assembly.

Oh, and love? Pity I was not with you last night. Less sleep? Sleepless!

Great news!

So, like. Wow.

Friday brought with it a life-altering event — continuous and meaningful employment in my career of choice — and now, a handful of days later, I am utterly exhausted. Sleep has come easily the past few nights, and to think that work does not actually begin until tomorrow.

Yikes!

I can’t wait. :)
