Epiphany on Wheels
by Chris on May.17, 2007, under General Thoughts
I had an epiphany yesterday: I don’t want to drive to work. Me. The lazy one.
My gods was traffic stressful, after the relative pleasure of cycling. People were asshats, the car was too hot, and the whole experience conspired to make me look forward to winter, and a need to drive, with no small amount of apprehension. Really, I’m happier biking.
Mind you, no rain on me, yet

Oh my, now I’m going to be looking over my shoulder for famine and pestillence.

Atta boy. Have you topped my picking up a hitchhiker yet?

I’ve noticed that biking in the rain is not unpleasant. But leaving the house when it is raining is. good luck

You know, it was raining this morning, and it wasn’t bad; Char’s right, my coat kicks ass in the rain, I’m bone dry (modulo sweat) on arrival.
No hitchhikers. The only people in Edmonton that hitchhike are filthy hookers. And I mean that literally on both points.
