…and home at last

Planes are so damned cramped
One thing i liked about the train, when i wasn’t trying to sleep on it, was the sheer amount of space it has - people on a train are not crammed in. It’s - even in the economy class - a fairly luxurious mode of transportation. It reminds me a bit of BC Ferries, just in the ability to walk around, the freedom to see different parts of the vessel, to pay exorbitant prices for food.
Full o’ old people, though
Anyway, i post this from my fave seat in the world, the one in front of my very own computer. It’s nice to be home at last… or it would be, if i weren’t a week behind on my classes and generally kinda lost in three of my five courses.
Oh well, so be it. Back to the front!

Sleeping – or trying to- was difficult for me, too, and I’m only 5 foot 5! There isn’t any room to stretch out on the seats, so I spent a lot of time waking up. But I love the leg room available just sitting in the seats, and I had a huge window all to myself, and no one sitting beside me, only a Brit sitting across from me. Old people on my run, too, and I thought I’d have to spend the entire trip listening to the woman whine (because she started to even when we were waiting to board!), but they moved and the Brit sat there instead. Much, much better. The cost of the food isn’t so bad if you bring your own… hah! Did you see Pyramid Falls (or whatever it’s called) in the early morning?

Oh the tribulations required to do your studies after enjoying a non-schoold break.
